" By the way... Valley Road... I just heard it from 12.30.90... BAD SONG!!! "

That's a Hornsby tune and they only did it a few times I think. There's one guy I didn't give ANY credit to until he blew me away. I saw him and the range open for Fogerty ( he didnt do any CCR so he sucked too ). I liked the message of the way it is but the show was a SNORE fest. When I saw my first post Brent show ( 12-3-90 )I thought he was going to help turn the Dead into a yuppie Bonnie Raitt sort of band the way they ALL seem to go ( Clapton, Winwood, etc. ) but he kicked them up more than a notch on that grand piano. No question about it.

Man I thought Bonnie Raitt played very well with the GD! I only saw her once or 2x at New Years one year. She seemed to have a heart playing slide.

I really liked Bruce and his addition to the band. I thought that the smartest thing they could have done would have been to augment Vinny's synth would have been to keep Bruce at the ivories. Not to be, however.
